Freedom Scientific told me that JAWS did not start Office 2010 support until JAWS Version 14. I used Version 13 with Office 2010 for some time, then finally switched to Version 15. I recommend doing that first, since I believe many of your JAWS issues will no longer exist with 14 or 15.
