For my part, my computer started out with IE10, which worked pretty good but for a few problems. I thought I'd upgrade to 11, and my situation got a little worse, so I downgraded back to 10, which didn't help. So now I'm back to 11. I no longer use IE as my primary browser, but there are a handful of sites that work better with IE. So if I know a site like Comcast crashes Firefox, I'll pay my bill in IE, and for the most part, I don't have any issues. I don't think any browser works perfectly.

Someone mentioned switching between 64 and 32 bit versions of IE, and I remember being able to find both on someone's computer, but for the life of me I can't find it on my own. How do you choose to run the 32 or 64 bit version?

Hi folks! I'm working with a gentlemen who is having issues with IE
crashing on him. He was using Internet Explorer Version 8.0, and we
switched him to Version 9.0. Unfortunately this has not totally eliminated
the crashing. I'll try to describe what is going on as best I can here. He
tells me that he'll be doing his normal job duties, when a message comes up
on the screen, telling him that Internet Explorer has stopped working, or
has encountered an error. When he clicks close, he often times loses
speech. Most of the time, he ends up having to reboot the system. I have
advised him to reset the IE settings, and start from scratch. Besides this,
I wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to what I could do to help him.
He is using JAWS 14.0.9002. He's not able to update to version 15. Based
on my experiences, this is more about IE than it is with JAWS, but it has an
affect on how JAWS performs.
