To select a column in Excel press spacebar and control together.

Hmm, that's something to look into. However, I do not currently own office
2013 only office 2010. I need to order a duplicate copy of the Kurzweil
CDs. Perhaps it retains the table formatting.
Another option I found online is to paste each Colum at a time into word
and have it auto format into a table. Does anyone know how to select only a
column at once?

What about 2013's PDF editing capabilities. I haven't tried that yet, as I
haven't even gotten around to installing 2013, due to other priorities.
Nonetheless, short of investing in Acrobat, it sounds like one of the better
options around, if you happen to own 2013 anyhow.

I haven't found a way to retain .PDF tables when converting to Word. I have
tried saving, but the only option I have is save-to-text. I have tried
printing to the Freedom Import Printer, and although the text is retained
pretty well the formatting is lost. I have sent files to
[email protected], and they come back in the right order, but without
actual formatting, as .txt files.
There are programs to convert .pdf's to Word, but I haven't seen table
retention work. ever.
when you find something, please let us all know.
Thanks,
Ann
