Hi, Gerald. You're in a feisty mood this morning! XP may still be widely used, but programmers are clearly moving away from it. Just last week we learned that as of the upcoming JAWS 16, FS will no longer support XP. That's just one example. I can also tell you as one who switched eighteen months ago from XP to Win7 that many websites suddenly work fine for me that didn't used to. Keep using XP for as long as it serves your individual needs, but for better or worse, the writing is on the wall.

Subject: Re: XP and JAWS Is that so? What is your unfounded assertion based on? For your infornation, XP still commands 25% of the Windows market, which means that millions and millions of computer users worldwide still depend on it. So it will be quite some time before support for programs that run under XP is discontinued.
