I'm using Win7, 64-bit, Word 2010 and JAWS 14. I just followed Kevin's directions and opened up the first invoice template, called "sales invoice." JAWS read the information line by line. When I pressed the key combo to summon up objects, JAWS identified two, and I was able to click on them.
I may only be contributing to frustration here because that's where I stopped. Still, in case MS templates might be accessible after all, I thought I'd add Ann Byrne's instructions on how to navigate objects: Press control-shift-o for JAWS to list 'objects'. Down arrow through the list and JAWS will read most if not all of the box. If you want to be sure you have read the whole thing, press enter on it to open it. Be aware that all the text will be selected, so if you press any key the selected text will disappear.
