Tim, Here's how I create a new folder in most areas of win7:
1. Go to the desired list of folders. 2. If the item where focus lands is selected, press control-spacebar to unselect. Putting focus on a non-selected item ensures the new folder will appear in the same list. Otherwise, it becomes a sub-folder of the selected item. 3. Press the applications key. 4. Arrow up or down to "new." Press enter. 5. The first item that appears is "folder." Press enter to land on the edit field. Type in a name and press enter again. Note. In step 3, I indicate the applications key, which worked just now in Windows Explorer. Actually, I typically press alt-f in this step, but it didn't work in WE. The shortcut to create a new folder in Outlook is control-shift-e. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Ford via Jfw Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2014 8:43 PM To: Voy44; The Jaws for Windows support list. You will land in an edit field with the words "New folder" already filled in. Just delete that or start typing the desired folder name and press enter.
