Kimber, Open JAWS quick settings, then type "new line." I got one result just now that seems to answer your question. I don't have this problem, and I see the checkbox that comes up is not checked.

Subject: Stopping jaws from saying "new line" Hi All, Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent jaws from saying "new line" every time the end of a line of text is reached when arrowing through a word document? I know by doing a say all I can keep this from occurring. But I'm editing a rather lengthy document and say all doesn't give me the level of control I need while reading. I don't really understand the usefulness of the "new line" announcement, but I will be content if I can just stop it. Thanks, Kimber -- Kimberly _______________________________________________ Jfw mailing list [email protected] http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com _______________________________________________ Jfw mailing list [email protected] http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com
