Hi Kimber, Try the following;
1. Open MSWord; 2. Press, Insert key + V, for Jaws Quick Settings; 3. Down arrow one time, now press the letter, E, & you should hear, editing options. 4. Arrow down until you hear, New lines and paragraph indications, now press the spacebar until you hear, off, & press enter to save the change & close. Hope this helps. Take care. Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2014 5:29 AM Subject: Stopping jaws from saying "new line" Hi All, Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent jaws from saying "new line" every time the end of a line of text is reached when arrowing through a word document? I know by doing a say all I can keep this from occurring. But I'm editing a rather lengthy document and say all doesn't give me the level of control I need while reading. I don't really understand the usefulness of the "new line" announcement, but I will be content if I can just stop it. Thanks, Kimber -- Kimberly _______________________________________________ Jfw mailing list [email protected] http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
