I think this was added in JAWS 15. It restarts and, for me at least, usually asks if I want to send an error report to freedom Scientific.

Subject: RE: New behavior when unloading JAWS with JAWS key+Win key+F4 Yes, this was FS's announced purpose, but I find that adding the Windows key to the combination well and truly shuts JAWS down. Without it, in my experience JAWS didn't always come back when I wanted. When I add the Windows key, JAWS almost always comes back when I summon it. It's been in effect for several versions. The change I noticed right away with JAWS 15 compared to previous versions is that the beep Tom mentions is no longer present. My PC just shuts up. As I said in my previous post, what I find new is that JAWS now comes back all by itself. Anna says that's normal, so I guess my previous experience was abnormal. Progress. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bill White via Jfw Sent: Friday, September 05, 2014 8:24 PM To: Tom Behler; The Jaws for Windows support list. Subject: Re: New behavior when unloading JAWS with JAWS key+Win key+F4 Hi, Tom. JAWS Key plus WinKey plus F4 is used when you want to create a dump or .dmp file which Freedom can look at to see why JAWS stopped speaking during use of a program.
