I thought that too, but apparently, you can still get it.

I was under the impression that Outlook Express wasn't supported by
Windows 7. Is this correct?

For those trying to use Outlook Express with Win 7, I think it's a losing
proposition. There's a way to use Windows Mail with Win 7 along with a few
tweaks to make it look and run like Outlook Express. Details are available
if you write me off list directly so I can send you the relevant
instructions. There's also a different spelling add-on that works with OE
and WM much better than the originals. However I don't recall the name of
this add-on. Perhaps another lister can point to that one.

Hi Jerry,

1. Do you have the, remember passwords, checkbox checked on the Servers Tab
in, Tools / Accounts / Properties?
2. Did you install the suggested dictionary for use with OE6 for Win7?
3. In Tools / Options / Read Tab, is the read all messages in plain text
checked?
Take Care.

Subject: Outlook express & windows 7 help

I have windows 7, jaws 15 and have installed outlook express to use with
windows 7. I am having the following three problems.
   1. Every time I ask Outlook Express to send a or receive messages I am
asked to put in my login password even though I have unchecked to ask for
password.
   2. When I write a message and tried to use spell checker I am told that
spellchecker is enabled.
   3. When I receive e-mail messages and there are internet links in the
messages I cannot open the links to take me to the web pages that link is
located.
I would like any assistance to solve these problems.

   Jerry
