OE is in both Win7 & 8 but, not accessible. MS has hidden it & I would not
imagine it's supported at all but, after having said that someone has
figured out a way to access it & created an executable file that can be run
to enable OE. Most people can install it but, there are factors that may
give problems for others. For example; If you are running Vipre as your
antivirus, you need to uninstall it before OE will install, & I do mean
uninstall, not just shutting it down or setting it so it won't start at
start-up. Then, after getting OE installed reinstall Vipre. Also, Nod 32
has to have something unchecked somewhere in its menues for OE to work.
Various people have had other issues but, there is no way to know if it's
going to work for you unless you try it. If you're running MSSE as your
antivirus, I haven't heard of anyone having any problems installing it.
But, it is recommended that any antivirus, spyware, or malware programs be
shut down during installation.
Take Care.
Mike

I was under the impression that Outlook Express wasn't supported by
  Windows 7. Is this correct?
