I'd avoid buying a new operating system while it's still very new, especially
considering the time it takes FS, or any other software maker, to catch up. I
have no regrets that I bought Win7 for my current system even though Win8 was
available.

Windows 10 will release later this year. May want to hold off unless you plan
to purchase a new machine. Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for Windows 7, 7
and 8.1 users.
