This is true. Bookshare if you have access to it is a great resource for this 
type of stuff. It was a huge help when I was transitioning to Windows 7 and 
when I got my first iOS device.

First, forget about Windows 8.  Instead, Windows 8.1 is far more accessible.  
Bookshare has at least half a dozen books on Windows 8.1 in fully accessible 
format.  I was able to successfully transition to Windows 8.1 from XP with 
these Bookshare books.
