Hi Dave, I used to have a similar problem with an earlier version of Jaws, J13 I think it was, & it turned out to be that my soundcard just was not abel to handle the constant sqwalking of Jaws. It seemed strange to me because it was a Real Tech onboard soundcard but, I tried a USB soundcard for Jaws & used the RealTech soundcard for Windows sounds only & everything worked out just fine.
