If you can get the company to spring for Goldmine, it is the way to go. I
use it extensively. There are some work arounds that need to be done and I
have found it to be less than accessible with Windows 8 but Windows 7 and XP
work well with Goldmine.
Goldmine is an expensive customer service management software package but if
the company is a large one or one that puts a premium on customer service
relations, then they will probably appreciate knowing about the software. it
is made by Frontrange Solutions.
If you are able to use Goldmine, you can contact me offlist and I can help
you with any problems you might have.
Again, it is not as accessible with Windows 8 and Jaws.

I'm wondering too. I heard about something on Twitter that is some kind of
cloud-based thing built to be accessible, but don't know if or where it
might be used in my area. The other thing is, when getting an interview, how
do you answer the inevitable question of, once you briefly describe what
Jaws is if they ask, will it work with our system? I don't know of anyone in
the state of Wisconsin that is doing this type of work, or of people I could
lead my VR counselor to to make the technical stuff work right to make it
happen.

Carlos, I have seen JAWS work well in call centers. It really depends on
the company, and the applications that they use. For example, some call
centers make you log into your phone, using software. This means, you
have to end calls, and do call related tasks, using some type of call
dashboard. I have seen some of this work successfully.

Subject: Inquiry about JAWS accesible software for employees of Call
Centers
Dear list members,
Does anyone know if JAWS readable software for visually impaired or blind
employees of call centers exist ?
If so, it should be multilingual, with Spanish as one of the offered
languages.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
