There is probably no screen reader that never crashes. However, I've heard rumors that WindowEyes crashes much less frequently than JAWS. As far as I know, though, there is no solid evidence to back this up.
At any rate, if you are considering switching to WindowEyes, keep in mind that WindowEyes behaves very differently than JAWS. That is true of keystrokes, as well as verbosity.
