In a document with tracked changes, you can choose whether to have all the
changes visible on screen, or to hide them. Sounds like your document has them
on screen and you want to hide them.

You need to go to the Review tab and in the tracking group, change the setting
for the "display for review" combo box from "show markup" to "final".

There are a number of ways you can get to this option. Here are two:
If you're not using the virtual ribbon, you can press Alt, R, TD, DownArrow to
Final and press Enter.
If you are using the virtual ribbon, you could use Alt, R, R, Enter, T,
DownArrow, Enter

Hope that helps,
Steve

Sorry Tom. Didn't fully understand track changes. They are a bit beyond what
I know. Hopefully someone can be more helpful.

Andre

Hi Tom,

I'm not sure if this will work. On a Windows machine. Try copying and pasting
the email into the note pad. It will paste as text only and read as a text
doc. You might be able to derive what is needed from that.

Hope this helps.

Andre

Subject: Need Suggestions For Dealing With Track Changes In A Word 2010 Document

Hello, everyone.

I have just received a document in my work e-mail that I need to review and
sign.

My problem is that the document has many track changes (including deletions and
insertions), so that it is very difficult to determine what the final document
actually says.

Has anyone figured out how to make sense out of a document like this?

I'm using Jaws 14, Windows 7, and Office 2010 here.

Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan
