Steve: I actually found the control shift E command to work. It got rid of the track changes, and just gave me the final document.
However, I'm going to keep your suggestions handy here for future reference, for those situations where the control shift E command does not work. Thanks very much! Sounds like your document has them on screen and you want to hide them. You need to go to the Review tab and in the tracking group, change the setting for the "display for review" combo box from "show markup" to "final". There are a number of ways you can get to this option. Here are two: If you're not using the virtual ribbon, you can press Alt, R, TD, DownArrow to Final and press Enter. If you are using the virtual ribbon, you could use Alt, R, R, Enter, T, DownArrow, Enter Hope that helps, Steve --- Steve Griffiths Senior Assistive Technology Assistant Working from home in Lancaster E: [email protected] T: 0746 871 1921 -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Andre Jarreau via Jfw Sent: 16 June 2015 20:43 To: 'The Jaws for Windows support list.' Try copying and pasting the email into the note pad. It will paste as text only and read as a text doc. You might be able to derive what is needed from that. Hope this helps. Cc: Tom Behler Subject: Need Suggestions For Dealing With Track Changes In A Word 2010 Document Hello, everyone. I have just received a document in my work e-mail that I need to review and sign. My problem is that the document has many track changes (including deletions and insertions), so that it is very difficult to determine what the final document actually says. Has anyone figured out how to make sense out of a document like this? I'm using Jaws 14, Windows 7, and Office 2010 here.
