Hi Michael, Yes, I too have this problem with Jaws losing focus when replying to a message. I never really noticed if it happens when I am entering dates, but will try to notice next time it happens. I am using the latest version of Jaws 16 on a Yoga Pro 2 laptop running Windows 8.1.
