If you open the file with Word, it will recognize page breaks.  If there are
no page breaks it assumes there is one every so many lines based on line
spacing, font and font size settings.

as far as I know, no. but it is possible to find out what line and column
the cursor is. just press insert+page down to hear the status bar read.
unfortunately, if word wrap is enabled, the status bar is automatically
disabled and JAWS will report nothing.
however, there is a simple change to make in the registry to fix this.
