ICQ99a, is for Windows 95, 98 and NT 4.

Could it be the power management?

Subject: icq wrong version?

someone suggested to me that icq99a.exe wasn't for windows95 and therefore,
that's why I was having so much trouble with it. I don't know if the
version that david has on his ftp site is the write version. I have
windows95 only. The version I got was from
http://www.icq.com/pub/preview/icq99a.exe
The file was about 4 meg long.
I'll download the version from david's ftp site and see if the file comes
out the same size.

Also, has anyone ever had windows shut down on them?
No, I don't mean that kind of shutdown.
my computer has a soft switch that turns the computer off when you choose
the shutdown option. What happened was this. I was just in the middle of
writing an email and then all of a sudden, there is a click, and the
computer switches itself on. It's only happened twice.
