Sir, you're making the very point I've been harping on for several days,
now. That, again, is the very reason Lotus Development quit using
specially-protected floppies back in the 80's...No user, especially a
corporate user, was going to put up with having an install go bad, and
then having to wait interminably for a replacement diskette so they
could reinstall. So it is here. When users make it very clear to HJ
that they will not put up with down time just to protect the company
from pirates who probably don't even exist, then HJ will get rid of that
archaic system and catch up with the times. As a matter of fact, it's
going to happen sooner or later, anyway, since floppy disks are about to
become quite passe. I'd bet that within five years (and that's
stretching it) the only removable disks you'll find anywhere will be zip
and jaz disks.
