I've downloaded the new beta version 3.3 and have none of the problems you
have mentioned in your post at the end of this message. I find it
extrememly responsive, and Eloquence is much better. the voice is much
easier to understand, and when I showed it to some of my students, they too
were pleased.
My caps lock says Caps lock on and Caps lock off as it always has in the past.
