I looked through sitematic and sort of follow it but I have a couple questions...

1) Where do the source documents for the site documentation go? If I look in CVS under core I see the generated docs but not the source documents. Do you only version control the generated docs?

Right now the source documents are outside of CVS, mainly because I'm the only one who's been dealing with them. Once I do an actual release of sitematic I'll make it a formal part of the build process, and at that point everything should be checked in. You're welcome to check in your source documents now in any case.

2) The jibx soap source documents are under sitematic. Was this just done to provide an example of how to use sitematic or should the jibxeclipse source documents be checked in there as well?

This was just as an example, so you could see what I was using. The sitematic code is itself not in CVS at present, in any case.

I'll probably just distribute as a zip file for now.

I saw you'd set this up as a feature for Eclipse. Have users been trying it out? Probably we should at least add a link in the JiBX documentation, and list it on one of the Eclipse plugin sites. I've still got concerns about the lack of support for incremental compilation, though; I'm concerned that's going to lead to problems for users when they forget to do a full build after changing some of their source code.
