No, the upgrade tests from 3.3.0 to trunk can only be added once 3.3.0 is 
released. Befor we do not have the artifact to upgrade from 3.3.0 to trunk. 
That is the reason adding these tests is a post-release step in the [release 
process|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/Release+Process#ReleaseProcess-Afterthevotepasses].
