Thanks @mjsax! Quick question here. We observe _occasional_
non-deterministic and very hard-to-reproduce unclean shutdowns with logs like
the following:
```
05:50:09 ERROR [KAFKA] StateDirectory - Some task directories still locked
while closing state, this indicates unclean shutdown: {0_13= StreamsThread
threadId: ltest-lh-1-timer-StreamThread-1
```
This log was observed while calling `KafkaStreams#close()`. Do you think
this could be related?
