lucliu1108 opened a new pull request, #23566: URL: https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/23566
Ticket: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-21151 ## Summary This PR extracts the streams group topology description plugin's push, cleanup-cycle, and delete group orchestration out of `GroupCoordinatorService` and into `StreamsGroupTopologyDescriptionManager,` behind a new `TopologyDescriptionRuntime` interface that abstracts the underlying read/write operations. It's a behavior-preserving refactor plus test coverage: no public API or wire-protocol change, and it adds unit tests for the moved orchestration that were previously only reachable through a mocked CoordinatorRuntime. ## Files - `TopologyDescriptionRuntime.java`: the runtime interface. - `CoordinatorRuntimeTopologyDescriptionRuntime.java`: Group coordinator implementation. - `StreamsGroupTopologyDescriptionManager.java`: move push, cleanup cycle, delete, and the conversion-delete building blocks original in GC service to here. - `GroupCoordinatorService.java`" now delegates to the manager instead of calling the runtime directly. - `StreamsGroupTopologyDescriptionManagerTest.java`: new no-op runtime test double for the existing constructor calls. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
