DefaultForeignResponseSinkPartitioner routes foreign-key join responses to the partition stored in the subscription record, without checking it against the number of partitions. A negative value makes the ProducerRecord constructor throw and fails the task, and a value that is too large fails the send. Fall back to the default partitioner, as for subscriptions without a partition, when the partition is outside [0, numPartitions), and log a warning.
