bugzilla shows a related bug (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6303) that is supposedly fixed in r1323. I tried to update the Jive firmware last night, but I'm stuck at r1279 (as others have noted in this thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41792).
At least I'm not completely locked out. Have you tried doing a reset? Power off the remote, then power on while holding down the + key.
