Thanks -- I did indeed! (I thought I hadn't because I had no lua
command-line binary, but the fink kde3 package had depended on lua 5.0
shlibs.)
One other build error I saw was that the "@echo -n" commands in
jive/Makefile weren't working as expected. They created a version.h
file which looked like this:
Code:
--------------------
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~/build/jive/src/pkg $ cat jive/src/version.h
/* This file is automatically generated */
-n #define JIVE_VERSION "
-n 1
-n r
1436M"
--------------------
Again, might be some weirdness caused by my fink installation, but
figured it was worth pointing out.
One last thing... Now, that it's built and running, I'm seeing the
following message on startup:
Code:
--------------------
2008-01-14 19:14:04.702 jive[66727:10b] Warning once: This application, or
a library it uses, is using NSQuickDrawView, which has been deprecated. Apps
should cease use of QuickDraw and move to Quartz.
Not using a hardware surface
--------------------
Probably not worth worrying about now, just wanted to alert you to it.
Thanks again for your help. I'm now *wicked* excited about the
Controller remote!
Rod.
