My advice, is to find some way to move closer to your access point and you'll soon notice many of these problems will go away. I used to have problem turning on/off, adjusting volume, leaving the remote in the cradle for extended periods of time. Now I'm not experiencing any of these problems since I moved my access point. Overall, I recognize that this is merely a temporary solution while beta testing but if the latest hardware product does indeed have adequate signal coverage, then I will definitely buy a new Jive controller. (if it doesn't though, expect a prompt return)
