I suppose what I really ought to do is do a factory reset of my router and then add the Jive's MAC and ip reservation before I connect it. I'll try this in a couple of days and report back if the problem persists. I don't know anything about the dhcp protocol, but it's hard to believe that this is somehow the Jive's fault.
