Shameless plug -- you might want to look at SyncOptions. For all local files, it can at least make the "joining" player wait until the next song starts. For MP3 files, or FLAC files if your players are Squeezbox2 or newer, it allows mid-song syncing without starting over from the beginning of the track. http://www.tux.org/~peterw/slim/SyncOptions.html Unfortunately, although Squeezebox2 and newer do natively support WMA (which you seem to be using) and Ogg Vorbis, the technique SyncOptions uses for mid-song syncing didn't work for those formats in my testing, so SyncOptions will wait for the next track for those formats. I don't know why the technique doesn't work, and since my library has virtually no WMA or Ogg Vorbis, I haven't followed up on that. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver BottleRocket FuzzyTime SaverSwitcher SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42743 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
