I'm very happy with how it works at the moment... i.e. without suspend! Yesterday I had it out of the cradle for 10 hours and it only consumed one third of the battery (according to the battery icon). I charged it for thirty mins and since then it's been out of the cradle for a further eight hours (whilst I've been asleep) and the battery icon shows I've used only a quarter of the battery's power.
Who needs suspend... and I would find waiting 10-15 seconds for it to connect to my wireless very annoying too? So, a choice to use the suspend function would be very handy.
