When you add music to the playlist using the + button the popup with artwork and text "Adding XYZ to Playlist" is shown but is almost instantly covered by another text-only popup saying "Adding to Playlist...". I searched the database and found Bug '7140' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7140) describing exactly this problem. However, 7140 was marked as a duplicate of '7094' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7094) and closed. 7094 is marked as resolved fixed.
I fail to see how the two bugs are related and I'm still seeing the issue described in 7140. Maybe someone can explain how the two bugs are related and why they're closed even if the issue is apparently still present? The current behaviour is quite irritating and always makes me feel like something went wrong, like the controller executed two actions instead of only one. It gives the impression of an unfinished implementation and can easily be recognised as not working as intended. I think this should be sorted out before production units are sent out. Btw, it would be a shame if the popup with artwork and text would be discarded and replaced with the generic one. I really like to see what's been added to the playlist, especially when playing random mixes.
