I experienced something like this behavior as well, when scrolling through the artist list the root directory of my music folder. It doesn't always stop in the same place (Fila Brazillia and Fischerspooner in my most recent tests), and if I stop scrolling quickly and scroll slowly past, then it's fine for the rest of the list. It's somewhat analogous to the spikes that come up from the ground in the original Prince Of Persia, without the death part.
