Thanks! I'm psyched. I've been doing a ton of reading on Lua but I feel that I'll only really start learning when I start coding (isn't that the way?)
I've been dying to play with this and add useful (and useless) apps for this. I have extensive programming background, and I'll admit- lua looks less friendly than some languages I've played with, but I'm sure I'll adjust. Sadly- it's a jump for me- as none of my programming background really got too deep. The closest I've gotten to network protocols and graphics have been hidden in several layers of abstraction (gotta love .net, directx, and so on for this). But nonetheless, I am resolving to figure out the basics and start moving from there. Any tips- tricks and whatnot will be great in the mean time. -- FredFredrickson ------------------------------------------------------------------------ FredFredrickson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16584 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46706 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
