/usr/sbin/crond doesn't seem to be running by default on the jive. I do see ether-wake, though. Any idea how to get crond to run as a service there?
But more to Gary's point: a WOL "alarm" with a UI on the jive would make it relatively easy to set a server wake-up for different times for different days, much as the musical "alarm" function does in SC now. That would give you more flexibility than what is usually offered in the rtc wakeup facility offered in many BIOSes (which is usually limited to the same wake-up time every day). -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50153 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
