Hi,

Sorry if this is a totally newbie-question:

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.

I have followed the instructions on the wiki on how to build the
SqueezeOS 7.2 using poky
(http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezeOS_Build_Instructions).
Compiling it for jive succeeded without any problems.

Then I wanted to try and build it for the qemuarm target. I had a few
problems building this image but succeeded at last by manually
downloading the file 'patch-2.6.26-rc4.bz2' using ftp and placing the
file in the sources folder.

My primary aim was to try and compile the source in order to run the
code on my pc. I thought compiling it for qemuarm target would enable
me to do so by using the runqemu as described in the wiki. This,
however, does not work for me. Should it?

Qemu seems to start booting alright but at some point qemu fails with
the message:

lots of no file messages ending with the line

no file '/usr/share/jive/squeezeplay.so'

followed by a stack trace starting with the line

[C 0x461a0]: in function 'require'
/usr/share/jive/jive/ui/Framework.lua:73 in main chunk......

Is this related to the display configuration problems mentioned in the
wiki, and if so, how can I solve this issue?

Hope you are able to help on this matter.

Best regards

Squeezar.
