Thanks for the quick response. Wish I had posted sooner instead of
toying with it for a while. The problem child argument was the 'Game
Status' field. I had it set to 'Active or Completed' for MLB Cubs and
despite the game being over it didn't show anything.

I don't use my Controller very often, but I figured I'd contribute a
SDT style for it. I think what I came up with is pretty good, although
of course it's very subjective. If I have time I'll do something
similar for Touch.
One thing I noticed is the big weather icon in the samples refers to
period 0. I personally think it should refer to -1 (current
conditions). I set mine accordingly.
The sports ticker is cool but I think it'd be better if it were a
continuous single string scrolling instead of one at a time. Maybe
have an option for scrollable or something and if enabled it combines
all the games to a single long string. Also, it'd be useful to have an
option for ALL sports teams selected in addition to selecting by sport.
Otherwise the user must dedicate screen real estate by sport.
Overall it's looking awesome. I'm very impressed with Custom Clock and
helper plugin functionality.
