Given that the Squeezebox Touch is supposed to be a full blown Linux computer, how difficult would it be to build and install custom firmware?
I'd be interested in updating the Linux kernel itself, as well as adding things like PulseAudio support, which would let me treat the Touch as a remote audio device that I could use over wifi or ethernet. I know it's not the original concept of the device, but if this is possible, it would make my life a lot easier, because then I'd not have to run Squeezebox Center and a Shoutcast server on my laptop, on top of everything else I use. -- elingeniero ------------------------------------------------------------------------ elingeniero's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79291 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list jive@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/jive
