Yep, I have a day job also.
Initially, we should put together some simple, easy-to-follow tutorials that
explain the basics without getting into how it was implemented. I'm
thinking the audience would be QA Testers instead of developers. Include
some screen shots. You know, make it pretty. People new to JMeter can get
a better idea of how they can use JMeter with these basic tutorials. Then,
we should write some more advanced tutorials.
Basic Tutorials:
- Creating your first Web TestPlan.
- Creating your first FTP TestPlan.
- Creating your first Database TestPlan.
- Configuring Thread properties (timers, ramp-up, etc.)
- (and so on)
I plan on strating on the tutorial stuff late next week, once we get
everything ready to take 1.7 out of beta.
What parts of JMeter did you write?
