Hi, Ahhh yes, I couldn't get the proxy server to work because I don't have a direct connection to the internet. My ISP requires me to go through the proxy. I'll get proxy to work for me first. Thanks.

When you record using the proxy, Web Tests are created - they may or may not have parameters in the argument table. Have you used the proxy? If not, well, you should! It allows JMeter to record actions you take in a browser (like IE), rather than you having to manually enter data into the Web Test GUI. I would think, if the recorded sample has a querystring, or is a form POST, then the "Send parameters" checkbox should get checked. I'm sure it's a very simple change in logic of HttpTestSampleGui. -Mike > > I vote to remove the checkbox since it's not that useful. If anyone > disagree, pls give your views on how it should behave and I'll > correct it accordingly. > > Thanks. > > neth > ---- Begin Original Message ---- > > From: "Stover, Michael" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Mon, 29 Oct 2001 20:45:30 -0500 > To: "'JMeter Developers List'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: Release Plan > > > > The point about the checkbox is that > 1. It doesn't actually add any behavior (the web test sends whatever > parameters regardless of whether the box is checked). The only real > behavior is that you can't edit the arguments unless the box is > checked. If > the checkbox simply weren't there, the GUI would be no harder to use > or > understand. > > 2. If you uncheck a checked box, all the parameters get erased and > are > unretrievable. It's too easy to accidentally click on it, or click it > experimentally. > > -Mike > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: kevin hammond [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > > Sent: Monday, October 29, 2001 5:51 PM > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: Release Plan > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > We talked about a final release of 1.7 a while ago. > > As I see it, here are the open items.
