I'm the maintainer of JUnitEE (http://www.junitee.org) which provides a server-side test runner for JUnit tests. Up to now JUnit tests were enough, but now I'm in the need for more advanced functional and load tests and that's why I'm new to the JMeter user community. After using JMeter for some days now I have some enhancements in mind I would like to contribute. And as you are looking for volunteers at the moment I'd like to offer my help.

Please excuse my ignorance. Here's the list again:

Also, on a similar subject, for those who get voted in, you'll want to let me know what you're preferred username for logging in to Apache. You don't want to be like me and be stuck with "mstover1" for some bizarre reason.

Hi Mike.
I don't want to seem too picky, but could you please correct my name in the list? I prefer it in full, the Catalan way ("Jordi Salvat i Alabart") but if you prefer to trim it down (may help avoiding similar future confusion), please just keep "Jordi Salvat".
Thanks,
Jordi.

Ok, I think enough time has passed. I was waiting for Michal to volunteer, but it doesn't look like he wants to. No problem, Michal, just wanted to make sure. I'm sure the group would love to have you if you ever change your mind.
I was wrong earlier, 4 people have spoken up:
===================================
Apache JMeter New Candidate Committers:
Jordi Alabart:
Wolfram Rittmeyer:
Keith Cassel:
Drew Gulino:
===================================
Personally, I recognize Jordi, Wolfram, and Keith from the list. And Keith more so from the bug database :-) Drew is admittedly new to JMeter but has contributed a patch to the bug database. It's odd, I just went to look for it, but it's labeled as "resolved", but obviously is not. So, I took the files and compiled them - they worked great - it's a new Assertion that tests the size of the response.
I will be voting +1 for each of these volunteers:
Jordi Alabart: +1
Wolfram Rittmeyer: +1
Keith Cassel: +1
Drew Gulino: +1
