The "dist" target should also make a source-only distribution too, in this case.

I was thinking about this... I have some doubts:

Currently Gump is taking care of building the nightly src snapshots. Do we really need to do our own? Should these replace the gump-made ones?

Which mechanism should we use to build them: do a new CVS export (safer) or just pack the ones in the work directory (cheaper)?
