Mike,
Personally I find it easiest to use different workspaces for work projects vs other projects. This is one reason why. Similar reasoning applies to formatting settings. In addition, my current project at work has something on the order of 20-30 different projects in Eclipse (actually WSAD), so it's easier to find JMeter in a separate workspace anyway. The drawback is that its a bit more difficult to switch between the two, but overall it works pretty well.


It's a matter of personal preference, of course, but maybe I'll add a couple comments to the Wiki about how to use multiple workspaces, for those who are interested.

The Eclipse settings aren't so useful since they're global settings. I use Eclipse to work on lots of different projects, so I can't have it putting Apache's license on all my files.
