OK, I see. Thanks for the explanation. So presumably we could just create one or two additional jars during the build, and get them published that way - or perhaps the <JAR> name attribute can be set to "ApacheJMeter_src.zip" etc ...

No, it's an implementation detail. gump.covalent.net publishes all <jar> entries of all <project>s that are marked a redistributable (in addition it publishes the <license>, if defined).
