I am
somewhat new to the whole realm of HTTP (from a technical level). I am
using JMeter 1.6alpha (modified) to test our solution, and I have been asked on
numerous occasions how many clients I am emulating.
It has
been explained to me that HTTP 1.1 can request that a session be kept alive, and
will provide a keepalive transmission to the server. Is this often used in
the real world? How does jmeter emulate a session?
