Hi Mike,
the out put from the build.bat file is below, I have also downloaded the
stable version of 1.7.3 and the build.bat file works fine ? To me both of
the build files look the same, but I am guessing that there is some
difference in the build.xml files ? I did notice that in the tools.jar
that there is only sun and com specific files.

Any specifics? I'm having no troubles. I'd guess Win98 is a problem.
