A few things to check: 1) Make sure you have a HTTP Proxy Server in your JMeter Workbench and that the you have clicked the start button. 2) Make sure you have a Recording Controller in your JMeter Workbench (this is where the requests will be added, not in your thread group like you were expecting in your earlier message). 3) Make sure the web browser you are using to initiate the capture is using a proxy server running on your localhost on the same port that the HTTP Proxy Server is configured to listen on.
This should be all you need to do. From your previous email it sounds like you didn't do step 2 above.
